UR5 Tool Frame Problem
#1
Hi!

I think there is a problem with the default tool frame of the flange with UR5 in new versions of RoboDK.

Attached first image shows the correct frame. The lumberg connector is on the Y- direction.

Second image shows the flange in RoboDk. The connector (not visible, but the position is indicated with the arrow) is not on the Y axis.

The third image shows the same with an older version of RoboDK (3.6.2) which has the correct frame.

Can anyone recommend a solution?

Thanks!

Serdar。

Hi Serdar,

Thank you for noticing, the online library should now have the correct UR models.
I attached the UR5 with the correct flange.

Hi Albert,

It looks like the online library still has the problem. The file you attached works ok though. I copied the UR5 from the old version of RoboDk to use with the new version. That works too.

best,
Serdar。

Hi Serdar,

You should delete the file in your local library to force re-downloading the robot file from our server.
You'll find the downloaded robots here: C:/RoboDK/Library.
