Yaskawa Motoman GP25 pulse to degree
#1
Hi.

I am a beginner of RoboDK SW, and I am trying to use yaskawa gp25.

I found that GP25 controller sends the pulse data, not joint angles, and I don't know the exact parameters to convert pulse to degree or versa.

I referred to the site below but still doesn't work.

Is there any way to check the exact pulse to degree parameter of GP25 ?

And where is ALL.prm file ?

Thank you !

Did you read this section of the documentation?
//m.sinclairbody.com/doc/en/Robots-Motoman.html#Motoman

Especially this sub section://m.sinclairbody.com/doc/en/Robots-Motoman...omanPulses

Thanks for your reply.

I loaded GP-25 robot in RoboDK, and checked 'Robot Parameters'.

The default values of 'pulse/degree' are all '1'.

What I referred the manual that you attached, the pulse/degree values are for motoman MH5F, not for GP25.

Is there any way to check the detail values of 'pulse/degree' for motoman GP25 ?

Apparently I cant access the parameters with the program trial so I am unable to test this myself.

I believe the directions are saying to load the All.PRM file from your own robot backup, so step 1 would be to make that robot backup. Then add in the GP25 from the library and drop the ALL.PRM file in.
