As specified on PyPI, pythonnet 2.5.2 only goes up to Python 3.8:
https://pypi.org/project/pythonnet/2.5.2/
I tested with pythonnet 3.0.1 this morning on Python 3.11 and did not get the crash in the driver.
Using pip freeze, I am using
clr-loader==0.2.5
cffi==1.15.1
pycparser==2.21
