Geometry of material deposition in 3D printing simulation-David-03-15-2021 Dear Community, In extrusion simulation, may robodk generate filament geometry instead of sphere (attached picture) or cube geometry for material deposition? Thank you for your reply. Best regards, RE: Geometry of material deposition in 3D printing simulation-Jeremy-03-15-2021 Hi David, If you open the Extrude macro (right-click -> Edit Python script) you can change the size, shape, and color of the extrusion simulation. Be aware that some shapes will make your simulation really heavy really quickly. Jeremy RE: Geometry of material deposition in 3D printing simulation-David-03-16-2021 Hi Jeremy, Thanks for your answer. According to Extruder script the available geometries are (PARTICLE, SPHERE and CUBE). I'm wondering whether we can have filament geometry ? Regards, RE: Geometry of material deposition in 3D printing simulation-Jeremy-03-16-2021 Filament geometry is not an option for now. Jeremy RE: Geometry of material deposition in 3D printing simulation-David-03-21-2021 Thanks Jeremy. Regards, |
