Can't find a start point-GMuld-09-14-2020 Hi All, Today I tried to import a curve from Fusion 360, after import I get the error: "Can't find a start point". Now I am wondering how I can solve this issue. Thanks in advance, Gertjan RE: Can't find a start point-Albert-09-15-2020 Hi Gertjan, This means the robot can't reach the start point. You may need to change some settings such as the approach move, the tool orientation or the location of the part. If you can send us your RoboDK project file we can help you better. Albert RE: Can't find a start point-GMuld-09-16-2020 ![]() Thanks for the reply. I checked the things you mentioned, but this doesn't change anything. So I added the file, could you please take a look? Looking forward to your reply. Gertjan. RE: Can't find a start point-Ahmed Alaa-09-21-2020 I've been trying to run this simple line of G-code: G01 X0.0 Y0.0 Z0.0 F400.00 However, it is not working. It give me an error "can't find start point". Kindly find the station attached. How can I set the start point? Thanks in advance. RE: Can't find a start point-Jeremy-09-21-2020 Hi Guys, Thanks for bringing up this issue. It seems like there's a bug regarding 4-axis robots. We will keep you posted on that issue. Jeremy RE: Can't find a start point-GMuld-09-22-2020 Hi Jeremy, Thanks for the update! And good to hear that you found the reason. I'll wait for an update/reply. Please let me know if I need to do/try something. Gertjan. RE: Can't find a start point-vadym yemelianov-10-21-2020 Hello Jeremy, I have same problem with ABB Robot. Please let us know as soon as this bug will be fixed. thx. BR, Vadym RE: Can't find a start point-Albert-10-23-2020 This robot machining menu was mostly designed to work with 6 axis robots. You can still make it work with a 3 axis CNC or a custom mechanism if you properly define the orientation of your coordinate system to make the path feasible. Also, in the project you sent, the coordinate system is outside of the machine workspace and this is why you see the message about the first point not being reachable. See attached image and RDK project with the changes I made. ![]() RE: Can't find a start point-GMuld-10-24-2020 Dear Albert, Thanks for the reply! To which message did you reply? Multiple people replied with the same issue, so now I am wondering if this applies to my question as well. Since the project you send is not the same as I send. Thanks in advance! Gertjan. RE: Can't find a start point-GMuld-11-20-2020 Dear people, Is there any progress regarding this issue? I am still experiencing the same thing going on and I like to start using this feature. Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Gertjan. |
